Great news! Prenatal protection in Texas is almost here. The Senate and House have passed the legislation. Now, Rick Perry needs to sign the bill.

A few days have past since this became news:
The head of the National Organization for Women’s Morris County chapter is opposing a double-murder charge in the Laci Peterson case, saying it could provide ammunition to the pro-life lobby.
“If this is murder, well, then any time a late-term fetus is aborted, they could call it murder,” Morris County NOW President Mavra Stark said on Saturday.
Can it be said any more clearly? NOW supports the murder/abortion of any baby as long as it is completed before the baby leaves the birth canal.
Thank goodness California has a prenatal protection law. Texas and 11 other states do not have any type of law at present protecting the unborn. As Scott Wilder said on his radio show this week, “In Texas, you can punch a pregnant woman in the stomach, kill her unborn child, and there is no criminal or civil recourse under Texas law.”
There is bill (HB 246) in the Texas House that will grant prenatal protection. Call or write your Representative today to urge them to pass this bill. The bill still allows for legal abortions, as allowed under Roe v. Wade.
Any pro-choice people care to attempt to defend NOW’s position?
We live in a pretty messed up world. So many on the left are incensed about Operation Iraqi Freedom where we are working to free an entire nation from tyranny. Some have taken to documenting the unfortunate side effects of war — innocent civilian deaths.
Others are strongly opposed to capital punishment and work to change the justice system.
The people behind Iraq Body Count and NCADP are held up as mainstream by American media, but those of us who hold to the sanctity of life and oppose abortion are branded as radicals. Let’s look at the numbers:
- Iraq Body Count: Min 877 Max 1050
- NCADP executions since 1976: 843
- NRLC total abortions since 1973: 43,358,592
So where is the real crime being committed? 43 million Americans murdered before they took one breath outside their mother’s womb. Oh, we know the argument, “those fetus’ are less than human.” Yeah and once upon a time we considered slaves to only three-fifths a citizen as well.
Hey all you crazy liberals, an injustice is an injustice. You can’t have it both ways. If you are against the loss of life in war or punishment, you cannot logically be pro death when it comes to the unborn.
