As I mentioned last week, ABC is about to kick off a series on Nightline about the Ten Commandments. They’ve put a little quiz Saint or Sinner together to promote the show.

After honestly answering the questions, ABC tells me that I am an “Earth Angel” because I am trying to do right.

Sorry ABC, but “trying to do right” is not enough. Scripture tells me that my sins will earn me nothing but death (Romans 6:23) and the wrath of God (Romans 5:9).

Thankfully, I have a mighty Savior, Jesus Christ, who shed his blood for me while I was still a sinner. (Romans 5:8)

Again I ask, will Nightline present an accurate picture of the fallen state of mankind and the salvation offered in Christ? Or will ABC present a moralistic, Pelagian fantasy world? I am not optimistic.
