A tornado warning has been issued for Collin County until midnight.
The National Weather Service reported that meteorologists detected a
developing tornado near Plano moving at 40 mph.

So at 11:40PM, nearly 25 minutes after the tornado sirens sounded, DallasNews.com sounds out a breaking news alert.

If they hope to save lives with a breaking news alter like this they might want to make it a bit more timely. Otherwise, they should just scrap this service.
