Five years ago today, 2,996 individuals lost their lives in the attack on America known as 9/11. One of those individuals was Michael Egan of Middletown, NJ.

According to everything I have read, Michael was a light-hearted, yet deeply caring Englishman. He enjoyed singing “I Won’t Grow Up”, pranks, and English beers. Peter Pan, the insurance-man if you will.
Anna, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your boys on this anniversary. It would be wise for me to emulate the loving devotion Michael had for you with his ever-faithful phone calls.
Michael worked at Aon Corp on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center and gave his life helping others escape from the south tower.
