Biblical Principles for Forgiving
- When someone wrongs us, we’re to forgive unconditionally even though that person may not admit it was wrong and ask for forgiveness.
- True forgiveness does not mean we will not continue to experience some negative emotions.
- Granting forgiveness and praying and hoping for justice incompatible concepts.
- When we have been wronged by someone who has not admitted it and sought forgiveness, we should have as our primary concern that person’s relationship with God.

Practical Principles for Rebuilding
- Whatever is still standing is worth keeping.
- Love your memories, but them remain just that.
- Construction starts with a single step and is finished after many steps.
- No matter how much you restore, life will never be exactly the same.
