ABCNews.com provides a different take on the real reason for war with Iraq:

One official said that in the end, history and the American people will judge the United States not by whether U.S. officials find canisters of poison gas or vials of some biological agent.

History will judge the United States, the official said, by whether this war marked the beginning of the end for the terrorists who hate America.

Even if we rebuild a free Iraqi republic, the world is still probably going to hate us.

Creative Commons Removed

The astute might realize that ecrosstexas: the texas blog no longer features a Creative Commons license. Why the change? Dan Bricklin outlines a number of serious issues that were never considered by us here at ecrosstexas. So from this point forward everything reverts to a standard copyright.

We believe in the spirit of the Creative Commons effort completely, but we are not in the business of warranting our work. This is a labor of love here, but we will make mistakes from time to time and we do not want to be responsible for someone else’s damages.
