Dallas near top for women in business

Dallas ranks 8th among the top U.S. cities with the most women-owned businesses. Dallas is also tied with other Texas cities, Fort Worth-Arlington,Houston, San Antonio, and Austin at 8th place as one of the fastest-growing areas for women-owned businesses, according to a national study by the Center for Women’s Business Research (via Dallas Business Journal). Do women still believe men are holding them down?

    Just stumbled in, saw this one and had to respond – Yes, many women still feel men are holding them down. And the best way to tell this is simply this: until there is no longer a need for a woman-owned business category, women are still not going to feel they are getting their fair share of business oppurtunities.
